Position Overview
Bio-One (A Trace Medical Company) seeking a dedicated Medical Equipment Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of vital bio-medical equipment that supports and improves patient health.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosis and Troubleshooting
● Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of bio-medical equipment, including but not limited to life support ventilators and general respiratory equipment.
Service and Maintenance
● Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to equipment to ensure they meet all manufactures safety and performance standards.
Testing
● Verify the functionality of equipment post-service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
● Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
● Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the biomedical equipment industry to provide the best service.
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with a combination of relevant work experience and education will also be considered.)
● Basic understanding of technical and mechanical equipment.
● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
● Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license
● Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and physical

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
